Yacht Charter Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

An RYA (Royal Yachting Association) Day Skipper qualification or equivalent will normally be acceptable to charter a motor or sailing yacht without a Captain, however some local bases my request an RYA Coastal Skipper qualification or equivalent depending on the size of the yacht you wish charter.

Once you have decided on your destination this will be confirmed prior to making a your booking.

What else can you offer to assist with our yacht charter holiday?

We offer several additional services such as private aircraft charter, transfers to & from the yacht, Captains & crew, provisions, fine wines & activity days such as golf & spa days.

What is included in the yacht charter price you advertise?

The prices advertised on the web-site included the yacht, yacht insurance, & taxes.

The price only includes crew on certain yachts & this is detailed on the yachts details page.

Please be aware that depending on the yacht you charter & location there could be additional charges payable locally for the rental of bed linen & towels, outboard engine & final charter end cleans.

This would be advised at the time of booking.

Can we charter a yacht for one or two days?

This is subject to the terms & conditions each individual yacht charter base as location base has different policies regarding day charters.

What is your cancellation policy?

Each yacht charter has a different cancellation policy.

These terms will be emailed to you prior to booking once you have decided where you would like to charter & which yacht.
